When you WhatsApp Experative to book a session, you'll see we offer two options: ₹850 for a trainer at your home, or ₹650 at our Kandivali training centre.
The most common follow-up question we get: "Which one is better?"
The honest answer: both work equally well for learning. The trainer, the method, and the safety gear are identical. But each option suits different situations — and this guide will help you figure out which one is right for you.
Quick Comparison

When to Choose Home Training (₹850)
Home training — where our certified trainer travels to your society compound, building parking, or nearby park — is the right choice when:
- Your child is young (4–7 years): Young children are most comfortable in familiar surroundings. Their own society compound with familiar faces and familiar territory reduces anxiety and helps them focus on learning.
- You have a good open space nearby: If your society has a large compound, covered parking area, or there's a park within 5 minutes walk, home training gives your child a great environment without travel.
- Scheduling flexibility matters: You don't need to coordinate travel — the trainer comes to you at whatever time works for your family. This is often the deciding factor for busy Mumbai households.
- Multiple children learning together: If you have two children learning at the same time, home training in your society allows both to train together in a space they know well.
- Your child has had a previous bad experience: A child recovering from a cycling fall is often more comfortable starting again in familiar surroundings — their own society — rather than an unfamiliar centre.
🏠 Most of our home sessions happen in Mumbai society compounds and building parking areas. A 20×30 metre flat space is all that's needed. Our trainer will assess your space before the first session and advise if it's suitable.
When to Choose Centre Training (₹650)
Centre training at our Kandivali location is the right choice when:
- You don't have a suitable space at home: Many Mumbai apartments don't have large open compounds — especially in South Mumbai, older buildings, and high-density areas. Our centre provides a proper open, flat training space.
- You don't have a cycle: For centre sessions, we can arrange a correctly-sized cycle at no extra cost. For home sessions, having your own cycle is preferred. If you haven't bought a cycle yet, centre sessions are ideal for getting started.
- Adult learner wanting privacy: Some adults learning for the first time prefer to not be seen by their society neighbours. Our centre is a private, judgment-free environment where other adult learners are also present.
- Senior citizens: Older adults often prefer our centre because the space is controlled, flat, and free from vehicles and distractions. The centre environment feels safer for those learning later in life.
- Budget is a consideration: At ₹200 less per session, centre training saves ₹1,400 over a standard 7-session package. For families booking multiple children, this adds up.
The Truth About Training Quality
We want to be completely clear about this: there is no difference in training quality between home and centre sessions. The same trained, certified, experienced trainer delivers the same structured 8-day method with the same safety gear. Your child or you will learn at the same speed and reach the same outcome regardless of which option you choose.
The decision is purely about practicality — your space, your schedule, your budget, and your learner's comfort level.
The One Question That Decides It
If you're still not sure, answer this one question: Does your building or nearby area have a flat, open space of at least 15×20 metres that is free from moving vehicles during training time?
- Yes: Go with home training. It's the most convenient option and your child will love the familiarity.
- No / not sure: Book centre training. Our Kandivali centre is purpose-designed for cycle learning and we handle everything.
When in doubt, WhatsApp us a description of your space and we'll advise you honestly. We'd rather you make the right choice than book the wrong option.
